Support You Can Count On

Because the roads can be so unpredictable, Toyota wants to make sure that you have the safest ride possible. Due to this, they have created Toyota Safety Sense™ (TSS) to help you say as safe as possible1. This innovative package combines Pre-Collision System2 with Pedestrian Detection,3 Lane Departure Alert,4 Auto High Beams5 and Dynamic Radar Cruise Control6 all meant to assist you. When all of these systems are working together, they help address three key areas of accident protection: keeping drivers within their lane, preventing frontal collisions and enhancing road safety during nighttime driving. If you are interested in learning about these features, all of us here at Lowe Toyota of Warner Robins have put together a comprehensive list to help break-down and explain how each of the features work.

Safety Features

This intuitive system helps you avoid potential collisions in certain situations by using forward-facing radar and a camera that scans the road ahead.2 If a potential collision is detected, you will be alerted with audible and visual warnings and brake assistance is automatically activated. If you happen to not apply the brakes, and the system determines the collision is unavoidable, the brakes are automatically engaged.
