The 2025 Toyota 4Runner i-Force Max is Here

Discover the all-new 2025 Toyota 4Runner i-Force Max, featuring the model’s first full redesign in over a decade. You’ll find that this iconic SUV has a strong new identity that merges modern hybrid performance with the type of rugged DNA that consumers have always loved.

Now, the 4Runner embarks on a fresh journey defined by power, efficiency, and smart versatility, with a new hybrid engine for you to discover.

Hybrid Power for This Capable Legend

Underneath the hood, there’s an all-new Toyota 4Runner hybrid engine, which is part of the i-Force Max powertrain. It features a 2.4-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine alongside an electric motor that delivers optimal torque, excellent acceleration, and fuel economy. This hybrid system will redefine what a mid-size SUV can accomplish, with estimated output figures of 326 hp and 465 lb.ft of torque.

The Toyota 4Runner i-Force Max enjoys better overall fuel efficiency compared to previous models. This makes the new 4Runner ideal for daily commuting, trail adventures, or long road trips. It embodies classic Toyota toughness and eco-conscious engineering.

The Modern Interior for Everyone

On-board, the 2025 4Runner specs and features reflect a brand-new design language. There’s an available 14-inch touchscreen infotainment, a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster, and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. You’ll also find upgraded materials throughout the cabin.

Certain trims have third row seating. Smarter storage and increased cargo space make this SUV ready for anything you can imagine. If you’re looking for off-road capability, you’re sure to like new features such as multi-terrain monitor and crawl control. Some models also have an improved version of Toyota’s legendary multi-terrain select system.

The Toyota 4Runner has a Bold New Redesign

The new Toyota 4Runner redesign will definitely make an impression. The vehicle sits on Toyota’s TNGA-F platform, which is the same as the Tundra, Land Cruiser, or Tacoma. So, it has improved chassis rigidity with refined ride comfort. It also has a higher center line and squared-off wheel arches, with some extra heritage-inspired styling cues. All these features will definitely give the 4Runner a commanding presence on- or off-road.

There’s also a new Trailhunter trim for overlanding enthusiasts.  This trim has the Old Man Emu suspension, skid plates, integrated recovery points, and 33-inch all-terrain tires. The TRD Pro models have even more off-road hardware, so they remain a stable choice for hardcore adventurers.
