The Toyota Apprentice Career Training program (T.A.C.T.) will help you develop your skills as a technician, become a better leader and achieve the career you’re dreaming of.
Once you’re hired here at Springhill Toyota, you can apply for T.A.C.T. and begin moving forward on your path to success. You’ll work with a mentor and complete educational courses, paid for by Springhill Toyota. With every new certification level you achieve, you’ll see your pay increase.

This year I started mentoring my second TACT student. It has made me feel great to pass my knowledge along to a new generation of technicians. My first student I mentored graduated from the program as an expert level Toyota technician. I know that he learned skills that he will carry with him the rest of his life and will allow him to make a career out of working on cars.

Master light maintenance like oil changes and rotations.
Experience: 0-1 yrs
•Pay: $15/hr
Diagnose and take on all maintenance tasks and repairs.
Experience: 1-5 yrs
•Salary: $50k-$70k/yr
Take on advanced maintenance tasks and be a mentor.
Experience: 5-15 yrs
•Salary: $70k-$90k/yr
Work with customers to assess repairs, check warranties, and write repair orders.
Experience: 1-3 yrs
•Salary: $50k-$160k/yr
Oversee the service lanes and ensure service is top quality.
Experience: 4-6 yrs
•Salary: $120k-$160k/yr
